I'm in the middle of packing my hospital bags I got my bag packed but I have to pack my baby bag... what do I put in there?? any ideas💡

♻I used the mesh underwear the whole time I was there (but I did pack 3 pair of my own underwear)
Sweater/Jacket (it rained the day we left)

➡Travel Size Toiletries for hubby and I (all from Targets travel section)

Hubby stayed all nights with me & baby and he packed:

➡2 sweats & 1 pair of shorts
➡3 socks
➡2-3 underwear 
➡3-4 shirts
➡Slippers

For Baby I packed:
➡3 outfits
➡4 socks
➡2 beanies 
➡3 mittens
➡Diapers & Wipes (I use Huggies & Hospital gave us Pampers)
➡Pacifier
➡2-3 blankets

Yea I definitely overpacked for the baby lol the hospital gives you diapers and wipes, but I would bring some of your own to be safe and two outfits, one sleeper and one outfit just in case.... but we kept him in hospital clothes until we left and only used a sleeper. Also one pair of mittens to use if his nails are long and a blanket.

Try to get as much for "free" as possible when you're there since the hospital will just charge your insurance. Lol

The nose suction things the hospital has are great we got two.... "misplace" one lol

Also if breastfeeding isn't going great try to ask for the the little gadgets to try ie, a nipple shield or nipple suction thing.. also if you don't bring your breast pump the hospital will let you use theirs and they give you a whole bag of Medela pieces and parts that you can keep after you use some parts are compatible with other brands of pumps.

Cash to buy food (I had free food from hospital / he had to pay $7 per meal) 
Any gift you want to take for nurses

If you want assistance some hospital recommend  bringing your breast pump and thry show you how to use it. It was nice because they even ensure you are using the right attachment size. Pump part that attaches to boob is standard but some women might need thrm smaller or bogger depending on nipple/ boob. Also nipple cream if you plan on breast feeding, some kids are bitters when born 😑

I just brought a going home outfit and non-chlorine baby wipes and diapers. We didn't bring the wipes or diapers with our first and the wipes provided by the hospital were super rough. My first was extra sensitive to chlorine diapers/wipes, so I'll bring chlorine free for the second just to prevent the major diaper rash that happened

A pyjamas, a go home outfit..... a blanket for the car seat if its cold..... thats all really.... hospital has everything...... they usually even have nice old ladies that knit hats for baby to even bring home. Baby really needs nothing. I only have a small duffle bag with  both mine and baby's stuff....

Just the essentials, some hospitals might provide some of the things but some don't. 
Baby wipes, nappies, hat, vest, baby grow, car seat. Along those lines really. To double check though you can go online and they will give you a list of things you need to take x
