Circumcise ?

If my bf and I have decided if we had a boy we're going to get him circumcised but I told my bf which is 31 that he would have to do it too ? What are your thoughts and will it be painful for home .

As an EMT, I can tell you from professional knowledge that circumcision doesn't necessarily mean clean. Circumcisions were started to discourage the act of masturbation. It exposes the glans of the penis therefore desensitizing it, making it less pleasurable and sometimes painful to do so. If you teach him good hygiene and teach him how to keep it very clean, he'll actually be better off with foreskin than without

Why would you circumcise him or your baby? It's their body let them pick if they want to do it when older then he can do it. That's cruel to me because it's cutting off part of his man hood and opening it up for infection and it desensitis it. To me it's cruel for multiple reasons. You open it up for infection and it's painful and unnecessary. Would you like it if your clit was cut off or your vaginal lips were cut ? No. so why would you do it to your child or your bf?

My son got it when he was four quick & fast no pain & I know ppl that got it & it's really not that bad u go home the same day

Do you mean your boyfriend would also have to get circumsized? This doesn't make any sense. The reason they do it so young is because it's not as sensitive/ they can't grab at it and make it more painful. I told my SO that if we have a boy then he gets to choose and he said we would get him circumsized for sure. It doesn't make sex less pleasurable, in fact it kind of gives them a fighting chance in bed and less risk of infection. my BIL knew someone who was 40yrs old and had to get it done for medical reasons. Apparently it was the worst pain ever for him.

Yes, it's going to be painful for him. However, I'd encourage you to do your own research and come to a decision. Maybe, call the hospital where you will be delivering and ask questions. Or even the pediatric doctor you plan on using. 
I'm personally against them. But, it's ultimately your choice.

I never understood why people get so uppity about getting their boys circumcised. I love the idea!

It's easier for them to keep hygienic because they don't need to pull the fire skin back to clean it - and you KNOW not every teenage boy does that. And not doing that can lead to infection. So just cut the foreskin off at birth and then it's just easier for them to keep clean.
