****WARNING**** this is a rant
I work in an office where is mostly women working. Since it's an office job, there's a lot of gossips going on and here say and all that good stuff. I just started with this company about 5 months ago and one of my co workers is going through a divorce. It's not that I want to eavesdrop on her life but it's hard when she's mostly talking to all of us, since the cubicles are close to each other and my supervisor is another individual who likes to gossip, does not mind her talking--she's like a background noise to me and sometimes I just can't help but listen.
According to her, her and her husband do not sleep on the same bed anymore and do not see eye to eye anymore and does not help with the kids--they have 2 children. Apparently she had decided to see another man while still being married. Now she's wanting a divorce and is talking to us on how to get child support from him and financial help because she's not making enough money to support her and her children since she is wanting to take the children with her when she leaves. This was a conversation that went on for days. Today, however she said that her ex husband went on her fb and found the secret messages she had with the guy she's seeing and printed it out. She said she had talked to a lawyer and stated that it's impossible for her to get anything because her ex husband has proof that she had cheated while still being in a relationship.
She's crying to us. She said she doesn't know what to do. Stated that it's her husbands fault for making her feel this way that's why she cheated.
I'm basically turning my ear off after I post this probably delete in a little while I just want to get it out. Being in a room with women who gossip all the time 8 hours everyday stresses me out. Lol
