Pumping and weaning?

Question

Any other FT working moms out there still pumping for their 11 month old? How much longer do you plan on pumping for your baby and how will you weaning from bottles of breastmilk to regular milk? My goal is 12 months and to continue night feedings if my LO needs it after she's a year.

Doing the same as you.. pumping until 1 with night feeding only.

I reduced pumping to get one bottle at daycare a day, the rest formula. Going to drop it to one pump a day when she turns 1 just to keep supply in case she wants the comfort through a couple more milestones.

I'm hoping to nurse as long as possible. But I would LOVE to quit pumping at work. Also we're only covered to pump the first year after the babies born. So I at least want to be down to one session a day at work. I have just dropped it from 3 to 2 and it seems to be going fine. If I don't pump enough I just send frozen (as I have a freezer full). The only time he takes a bottle is for daycare and he doesn't drink that much there. He would rather have the boob! I'm afraid that if I cut out pumping all together at work my supply will drop.

I have stopped pumping at ten weeks ... I still nurse my 11 month old  when I get home from work and then before bed and again in the morning before work. At his 10 month appointment his doc said if we can keep him on breastmilk for one more month, we would be good to transition him to whole milk. That's where we are at now. Using the last of my frozen breast milk to mix with whole milk for his transition. So far so good!

I work full time and my goal is to make it to his first birthday too (about 3 weeks from now). My little guy generally sleeps through the night so during the work week I nurse him when he wakes up and before he goes to bed, and otherwise I pump. On the weekends or if I'm off, of course, I'll breastfeed as needed. We supplement because I just don't pump enough (fine on the nursing part when we're just doing that). I mention supplementing because that might make my situation different than yours.

Here's my plan: he likes sippy cups when we give him those so I'm thinking while we transition, I'll pump instead of the daytime weekend feedings and we'll mix that with regular milk at first. (If I produced a lot when pumping I'd probably drop a session too, but that's not my situation.) I'll ask my child care provider to do the same. I'll probably keep up the morning and evening nursing sessions for a few weeks but as he starts to get used to milk, I'll start dropping pumping sessions. I realize my supply will dip but my whole goal this entire time was just to breast-feed for a year so I think I'm OK with that, especially since he is often very very distracted at this point and I suspect he is going to be fine without it.

My son is still nursing at just over 11mo. My goal is a year, and then we'll see what happens after that. He's officially dropped a bottle during the day, so I dropped a pump session at work. For now, we'll do things at his pace and see how it goes.

I'm still breastfeeding my 11 month old. He still nurses or takes a bottle like a newborn, every 2 hours...and I don't plan to stop nursing anytime soon. But, I am really conflicted on when to scale back on the pumping! I pump twice a day at work (I work full time), and I nurse my son on my lunch breaks. I'm considering dropping a pumping session but I worry about my milk supply drastically decreasing. Not sure what to do! I'm definitely tired of pumping, and would welcome a break, but im not ready to stop nursing.

My LO turns 11 months old next week. I would like to start weaning soon after. I have already reduced how often I pump (in addition to pumping at work I was pumping at night too but have cut out all but 3 night pumps) and have added an additional bottle of formula to her daycare bottles (she's part time so only takes three bottles each day).  At some point I will make her third bottle formula and will stop pumping then and go from there. 
The next transition will be the actual weaning from nursing... which I'm nervous about.
