What is he sleeping in, if you don't mind me asking? Belly sleeping in something like this would probably scare me. It seems squishy and the side things can be troublesome. But on a flat surface like my bed, no.

Belly sleeping scared me and back sleeping so I just let my baby sleep on his side and put a little pillow my grandmother made behind him in the middle of his back. Lord behold one night me and my fiancé were knocked out and he was about a month or so he woke up choking and just stopped I jumped outta bed and he was back asleep the milk had came up and was running down his cheek I glanced at my fiancé and said THIS IS WHY I WANT THE DAMN PILLOW BEHIND HIM OKAY!!! My fiancé was a fan of puttin him on his stomach or back. He never argued with me again on that note!!!

My son started tummy sleeping a 1 1/2 months. He would not sleep on his back or side. I tired for what felt like forever. I put him on his tummy and he slept so good. Mind you I watched him like a hawk for weeks cause I was worried. Eventually he put my mind at ease. He'll be 5 months Thursday, and he's still a tummy sleeper.
