anyone else's baby head down super early?

I'm 24 weeks. I've been having contractions since 21 weeks and they said I have an irritable uterus. A few days ago, I thought my water may have broken, so I went to L&D to be safe (I was still having contractions). My cervical length was good, I wasn't dilated, and no amniotic fluid had leaked. When they did the ultrasound, the baby's head was down. Has anyone else had something similar happen and still carry the baby to term? I'm so scared. My contractions are strong and sometimes 2-3 min apart (then they fade). I've already talked to my doctor and they don't seem too concerned.
