Did Chlamidia affect your fertility?

Along time ago a guy gave me chlamidia. It was cured by a shot. Now I am trying to get pregnant with my husband, it was our first month trying but nothing happened. A nurse said past chlamidia could affect current fertility? Has this happened to you? It was cured right away I didn't have it for long.

Yes it can, but a month of trying for healthy adults is not unusual. After 6 months or so you may want to ask to start some fertility testing My friend had undiagnosed clamydia for over one year as a teen and it did affect her fertility.

Yes it can. But it doesn't mean it'll never happen it could just take a little longer. It took me a year and a half to get pregnant. And I've had it before. But it also takes healthy couples a good year to get pregnant most of the time.
