Missed Period

I've been on the pill ORSYTHIA for probably about 7 months now and at first I kept getting my period as usual but just a lot lighter and shorter than usual. But lately I noticed I havnt had a period in a while. Can't say how long it's been exactly but definitely at least one cycles flow. Not sure if anyone uses this type of pill and knows if you might lose your period on it. My doctor didn't mention losing it completely so I'm not sure if I should be worried and take a pregnancy test. Any response is appreciated!
