Drool Rash
Any suggestions for dealing with drool rash? My 5 mo old is constantly soaking his bib or outfit and now has a rash underneath his chin on his upper chest.. I change his bib often and apply aquaphor but it appears to be getting worse! I don't know what else I can do.. it looks painful :(
...............Update for those who are interested: after trying just about everything - Desitin did help dry it up & reduce redness but the skin would not heal.. I finally took him to the Dr.. she prescribed a 2.5% hydrocortisone that I am mixing with lotrimin 3x/day and it is finally starting to heal! (Top pic yesterday morning - Bottom pic yesterday evening after 2 applications)
The cetaphil lotion/body wash is working wonders for his dry patches & is keeping eczema at bay!
