Am I asking too much??

Question

It's been 4 days since we last bd. I asked my hubby last night if we are still trying because we were meant to try do it every other day. He said yes but then still we didn't bd. I'm upset as I am really trying (plus I think I'm ovulating so I get more disappointed) and he doesn't show me he's that interested when it comes to bd every other day. Am I over reacting? Al I want to do it try and bd every other day this month is that too much to ask for?

Don't tell him that you're ovulating/ want to bd a specific amount that month. Men can get performance anxiety very easily and it stresses them out. My so and I don't discuss it really. He can usually tell when I'm getting close to o'ing because he's getting it more/ I'll wake him up at 3am to bd before work. 😂 But not talking about it takes the pressure off of him. Men are extremely sensitive about fertility I think, even more so then we are.

Don't pressure him and it'll happen. Men are weird. Don't talk about babies or trying for a baby. Get some lingerie and get him at a good time when he's not too tired etc. When I would mention to my husband that we had to bd because it was "time" he'd get totally turned off...

I can see why your disappointed, but with guys it's different with sex. They want to think we're having sex Becuase we want to and not just Becuase were are trying. Me and my hubby are trying and it seems like when i make the sex seem like a chore it ruins the mood for him. So I just send him sexy pics and talk dirty to him, etc. I usually don't even mention ovulation, because I feel like it makes it sound like we're just having sex only because we're trying. I really try to get us both to enjoy it and not seem like it's a chore to have sex. He likes it better like that and honestly I do too.

I agree with Shaina. When my husband and I were trying it felt forced because I would say "we have to try today" and after a while when it wasn't happening each month it became harder and harder to enjoy and eventually we avoided it all together.
I know it is hard but you have to try and enjoy the process as much as possible and not focus so much on trying but on enjoying each other.

I don't want to vote..so I'll give some advice 😉 I know from experience when asking "are we still trying" it puts in their head some pressure.. so it's best to try and initiate than to put some pressure on by asking the question..we might not think it's pressure but to them anything can feel like pressure...so in my opinion I don't think you are wrong..you are just frustrated and you can feel that way..☺️

My husband got like this too even when we agree to BD more that month. I don't think your wrong for getting upset but I know I'm my case it really put my husband out of the mood when he felt like he had to. Conceiving is the hardest thing we've ever done and it's hard to keep a spark when you feel like nothing is working. I'm sure he doesn't mean to make you upset and that he wants a baby as much as u do sometimes men get in a mood! Good luck hun
