baby boys!?

Question

This is my first and we tried for nearly 2 years so I'm so excited. I've always wanted a boy first, but a girl more! Haha I don't know what to do with a boy, I've always been around nieces and girls! I'm so scared! I know I'll be a great mom-- but hopefully I'm not to girly with him! Anyone else have this strange feeling like they don't know what to do with boys? My husbands aunt says she wouldn't know what to do with a girl, and after her 2 boys she'd only want a boy again!

I only had sisters growing up. There were no boys in my family and I felt the same way! Like I had no idea what to do with a boy! But my baby ended up being a boy and he is amazing!! It's true what they say daddy's girl and mommas boy! He is very attached to me and loves laying by me all the time. He is extremely protective of me and does not like it when I'm upset. Hes the best thing that ever happened to me. You will be fine! You learn as they grow and it's fantastic!! Don't sweat it! :)

Boys are easier than you think. You don't have to dress them up like girls, even though I look forward to doing it when I have a girl. You just put them in something simple and let them play. My go to is sports so we have a lot of basketball stuff because it's our favorite. When he gets older and can choose things on his own it'll be easier maybe. I was nervous but it came naturally and my husband being involved was helpful to get his point of view. I think you'll do great!

I have a big brother so I've always wanted a boy first. Which is exactly what I got. Now that I have both I don't care with this third is. My son was an EASY baby. He's a ball of fire and energy now, but he listens to me whereas my daughter is more stubborn. For example I'll ask her to say "Please." She'll just stare at me. I just have to walk away from this situation until she realizes I'm serious about manners. My daughter cried more as a baby. Girls are more vocal, but I feel like I can understand her emotions more. Whereas my son will do the weirdest things, I don't get it, but my husband does.
When my son sees me painting my nails he wants his "claws" painted on too. Whereas my daughter asks for her, "pretty nails." I don't say, "this is for a boy or this is for a girl." I let them do their thing, because it's all in innocence. Research has shown time and time again as long as your son's father isn't absent in his adolescent years he shouldn't be "too girly".

Yes!!!! I have a daughter and custody of my two nieces. I have two sisters no brothers! I pregnant with a boy and kinda nervous I won't do it right lol!
