IUD placed

So I got my IUD the Mirena placed about 15 days ago and I cramped and spotted a little for like 4 days then it stopped. now it's like I'm starting my period but it's too early and I'm extremely regular. I just need to know that this is normal. I had one placed many years ago before I had children and it went in and that was it I never even bled.
