paragard insertion bleeding

Hello! Just got my paragard on Friday so I'm a totally newb. None of my friends have ventured this route, so hopefully someone can help. Since Friday, lots of bleeding and cramping and I wasn't sure how long this would continue. I took myself off the pill late November so I had 2.5 cycles in December and I just finished my period last week and here I am bleeding more 😑. I'm hoping to love this route since neither myself or my husband want children, I just wish there was more info on it 😊. Thanks in advance.
