what to pack?

I notice the talk about getting your bags ready for the delivery. What is it that we need to take to the hospital that they don't have for us?

My friend just had her 2nd baby a few weeks ago and I was curious about the same thing so she gave me this list...hope it helps

Clothes for you to go home in, toiletries if you want your own, chargers for electronics, clothes for your SO to change into, a blanket and pillow in case he has to sleep in a wierd place, and toiletries as well. You will possibly stay a night or two so pack for that (toothbrush, hairbrush, etc). You may want something from home like a robe or pillow that brings you comfort. Headphones. A camera if you want. A nightgown to sleep in (in case you find the hospital gown not comfortable.

Clothes for baby to go home in (in a few sizes). They will give you a blanket but you may want your own receiving blanket as well. Nursing bras, breast pads, and maternity underwear if you dont want to wear the mesh underwear they give you. a trash bag and towel to sit on on the car ride there.

My hospital suggested we bring food. We have access to a fridge and microwave. That way, my husband doesn't have to leave in order to eat.
