flu while pregnant??

Question

I will be 34 weeks tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I have the flu!!  I was around two others who tested positive for it so I called my doc today and all she did was call me in some Mucinex I don't see her until Friday!!! I think I will go to urgent care just to get tested for it to make sure 😩 but I had a headache for three days,sore throat,cough, diarrhea and my feel sick to my stomach!!! Anyone have any tips to help me feel better??

Omg I had thee flu last week and I was 33 weeks pregnant, I felt like death sorry to be so blunt but I did!! So this is what I found to be sooo helpful, water, sleep, Benadryl (doc says that u can have 1 tablet for 2 nights), Afrain (nasal spray) I did it at night for sleep cuss I was congested, and hot baths!! I hope this helps!!!

Yuck! Just had the stomach bug over the weekend (I called, they were sympathetic, but there wasn't much they could do that I couldn't)...not sure about feeling better, but keep track of your hydration, if nothing else. Do you have any ginger tea? That helps with nausea (plus warm liquids feel good on the throat). And run a humidifier if you have one. Other than that, sleep whenever you can. And definitely go to the ER if you can't keep any fluids down for too long.
