overreacting or not

So im 37 weeks and for the past two weeks ive been having extremely horrible contractions that im going to the hospital and they show my contractions are strong as hell. Well my doctor told me im only a fingertip dialated but my cervix is soft. She says my contractions might not be strong enough to dialte me because they always stop once they start off going good. So she wants to induce me at 39 weeks because of this and baby not wanting to drop or move right. Im really upset because i wanted to be natural and my fiancé trlls me i have two weeks to try and walk her down doing squats and all. Im still feeling hurt and he can tell so hes been taking me out to get my mind off of it because he tell me as long as th baby gets her and me and her and ok thats all that matters. Am I overreacting or not?
