Hiccups= no labor soon?

Has anyone heard this? I'm getting depressed about it because im 39 weeks and so far the baby has had hiccups everyday. Every time he gets then I get more and more discouraged.

Absolutely not. Hiccups have NOTHING to do with due dates. Hickups are the baby's lungs developing and learning how to breathe. My friend had her son hickuping 10 times a day for a good 5 minutes at a time.  She went into labor at 37 weeks. My daughter had hickups non stop and I went to 41 weeks. 
There's no corelation between hickups and a due date. If anything,  it's the oposite. ..the more hickups they get,  the more u know baby is getting ready to make their apearance.

My kid had hiccups during labor 😂 it was causing him to throw fits and kick at the monitors (which kept displacing the contraction tracker and almost got me sent home lmao). It's one of those dumb old wives tales
