How do you like the name Emmaline?

Question

I'd pronounce it EMMA (like the name Emma) -line (like a line you'd draw on paper). Emphasis on the Emma part.

Apparent it can be spelled Emmeline, Emeline, Emmaline, or Emaline. I think to help with spelling and pronunciation I'd go with Emmaline. What do you think?

Also, I'm worried that it's TOO uncommon. I don't want people to think its a name I made up or something.

I just love he way it sounds, so sweet and pretty, but I need more opinions.

Middle name is Jean by the way. And the last name is a short 4 letter name too.

We almost went with that name then chose Emersyn. The only reason we switched was because I thought people would say Emmalyn and didn't want her to have to correct it all the time :/ I still think it's a beautiful name though 💗

I like it! I call my daughter Emma that sometimes as a nickname. Sometimes I sing "Oh my darlin' Clemetine" as "Oh my darlin' Emmaline"

How about Emmalene? It doesn't look quite as pretty (still very nice though!) but the pronunciation might be more obvious?

I like it but I could see that people might pronounce it Emma- Lynn/leen instinctively instead of -line. But I don't think it seems crazy at all, it's not like weird or random, just might be one of these names that people might mispronounce and you/she will have to correct. Which in the grand scheme of things is no biggie IMO. I have a French name that people need help to pronounce and I'm giving baby girl a French name too that will have the same issue (though its nickname/shorter version is Ali which makes it an easy option for English-speakers)
