Pregnant and looking for job

Should we disclose pregnancy status in job interview? I was the best candidate for a job posting and in face to face interview I disclosed my pregnancy status. They assured me that I was best fit. Today I came to know they are going with someone else profile and feedback was I did not meet some requirements.
