Labor?

So this might be a dumb question but if I was dilated to 2 cm the 26th and have been having some pretty strong contractions that are irregular still would I be in labor and do you think they would admit me in the hospital to have my daughter tonight? She is already a very good weight based on her measurements done the 26th and my ob wanted to induce me in less than 2 weeks anyhow. Just curious and wanting to meet her already. Thank you for your responses in advance.

Nope. Unless you're progressing they wont waste a bed. Because if someone comes in who Is in active labor, they need that bed over you

In New Zealand, generally speaking, they like you to wait till your contractions last for 1 minute and are 3 minutes apart and have been like that for an hour

As I've heard, you are not considered to be in true and active labor until contractions are regular. You can go to the hospital but they won't keep you. Not unless your water breaks.

There is a new rule unless you are in active labor they won't keep you unless your 39 weeks or there is complications, they also will not help you unless your 39 weeks.

In the U.K. They don't admit you until you are 3 cm
