Like you wanna make sure he's always safe after work or hanging out with his friends. I mean...I do this to my boyfriend and he has nothing against it. But sometimes when he goes out to drink with his friends and forgets to text me, I'll be so worried. I know he's an adult but just can't help. Am I overacting!

I ask my boyfriend to do so because I fear he could be a victim of police brutality or a victim of violence ..... he's a black man (very dark skin) with long dreads and it just sickens me to know he could be hurt because of his skin color and appearance. So I try to get him to let me know when he's okay and safe!
