my birth story

Went to my final specialist ultrasound on Friday 1/27/17 at 9am. I haven't slept the night so nervous . The results came back the same low AF and baby measuring 4+ weeks smaller so they decided to induce me that night. 

Rewind to Thursday----they already told me If the results came back the same I'm getting induced that week so prego nesting came out of me and I cleaned the whole house and did laundry packed and got everything ready and stayed up the night thinking and praying everything goes well and of course I couldn't sleep and had severe migraines 

Now back to Friday I went to Walmart picked up a few things then went home got my stuff dropped off my 2 year old my sister and picked up my mom and husband (I was having minor contractions) I was already 2 cm dilated and 75% effaced . Got to the hospital around 7 and until we did the paper work and blood work it was already 8:30ish. Since I was already dilated they started me out on pitocin level 2 and had my IV as soon as t started I started having contrations (yaaaay) so they turned it up to 4 then around 10ish they checked me and I was 3cm so they leveled it to 6 while I was contracting and handeling the pain like a pro my baby got distressed and his heart rate was dropping so they came immediately and lowered the pitocin to 4 and told me to take it slow . However I was still having rapid contrations and they were getting tougher and tougher so I begged for the epideral my OB Came and checked me I was at a 3 and 1/2 so she allowed me to get it since I was progressing fast . So the anesthesiologist came and boy he had a rough hand he was so serious and was rushing to leave since it was around 2 am and he was rough . I felt everything (which I didn't expect since with my daughter I didn't feel a thing) then finally they epi started to kick in and my migraine started 😓😓 boy was I getting contractions but they kept slowing the process so my baby can relax . Finally around 4 I got checked again I was 5 and 1/2 yaaay I was excited then got checkef at 6am she checked me and I was at a 7cm she told me the dr has a procedure so at 7am we'll brake your water and you'll most likely be at 10cm and then the contractions became stronger longer and rapid I felt hot flashes so I told my mom and husband I think I'm already at 10 , 5 min after the nurse left . So I called the nurse and she told me it was normal to have hot flashes then I felt pressure so I called her and told her please check me I think I'm ready . I was right I was at 10 cm and she called my OB right away and my OB came to break my water and when she did there was a very small about of leak that came and finally 4 pushes and my little princes was out sunny side facing up lol weighing 4 lbs 4 oz and 17in long and came around 6:30am . I had some stitches and they had my placenta taken to be tested . My baby is healthy but has low sugar levels so they are going to watch him and see if he does well and if you contains his weight or gains and if he passes he won't have to stay in the nicu and should be able to go home with us.
