I pass large clots of tissue like this all the time during my period. Especially after baby #1. My doctor said it is normal and pretty common, especially after a woman has already had a child. If you had severe (like 7-10 on the pain scale) cramping or vaginal pain when it passed, that could be a more serious issue, but if not, I'd say it's fine. Call your nurse line if you need reassurance, but this kind of clotting is normal for lots of women.
