anyone else's baby has/had RSV???

How long did it last?
What did you do to help baby?
Any advice please. FTM. Very worried.
Just got home from the hospital will be following up with his pediatrician on Monday..

I'm a nurse in a pediatric ICU so I've seen the worst the RSV has to offer. The illness usual peaks around day 4 or 5, so if you're baby has only shown symptoms for one or two days it can get worse before it gets better.  You may hear some wheezing and your baby will be super congested. Stay on top of sucking out their nose and pushing hydration.  Keep track of wet diapers, and watch out for how hard your baby is working to breathe.  If you see their ribs sucking in or their nostrils flaring give your doctor a call.  The only treatment there is is supportive care.  No magical tricks for this nasty virus.

My 5 months twins have it. 
They tested negative for RSV twice at the urgent care and once at their follow up. My boy twin then spiked a fever if 103.8 and we ended up admitted to the hospital, and he had pneumonia, and tested RSV positive on a biofire test. It's rough, but we finally are out of the worse

Keep baby hydrated and make sure baby eats. My son needed an IV and it was a nightmare, because he'd only eat 2 to 4 oz a feeding, every 5 hours. Our dr recommended pedialite mixed with his formula. Use lots of nose suction, humidifier, and sometimes cold air helps too. It's rough, and you'll lose sleep.

My twins are finally able to breathe, we did breathing treatments every 4hrs. They still sound awful, but they were cleared to go back to daycare.
