SIL is too much...
M sister in law wants to be my birth coach too and my husband is all about it. She loves our first son and all - and she's a great person. But I don't want her there! We had our first born in another state and now that we live near her she wants to be ULTRA INVOLVED. Her and my husband are really close, the kind of close where they can tell the same childhood stories over and over again every get together and never get sick of them. And I just know while I'm in labor, if they're both there there will be multiple times where I will end up asking them both to stfu! And I just don't need the stress while trying to deliver. I asked my husband if he can instead suggest that she babysit her nephew instead and help with that and he thinks I'm being selfish. She has 2 kids though and I'm sure she'll understand even if she's a little hurt by it. I know I'm not wrong for wanting to dictate who is with me in labor but how the hell do I say no to her without making someone upset about it.
