is my newborn bored?

I have a 2 month old little boy. He got his 2 month shots 3 days ago and since then he's no longer a fan of his swing which he always loved. He no longer naps for more than an hour during the day when his naps ranged anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. He stays calmly in his swing either alert or napping for only a few minutes and I can't get a thing done around the house now. When I pick him up he's completely satisfied. When I leave him in his swing but talk to him he calms down as well and cheers up. He sleeps fine at night and puts himself to sleep when he does nap so I know he's not spoiled. It almost seems like if he goes just a few minutes without hearing me or anyone he gets bored. Is that possible? Can a 2 month old be bored? If so, what can I do to keep him entertained for a few while I get small chores done around the house like making the bed or washing dishes? I never left him alone and awake for more than a few minutes because I felt guilty but now I can't get a minute without being summoned for a chat lol have any of you experienced this?
