56 hours
So I was 38 weeks pregnant with my son and because of some medical issues my doctor wanted to induce me so I went to the hospital on January 19th 2015 and 5 am to get checked in so after I got all checked in and into my room they put this strip in my cervix and started the induction I got up every 45 mins to walk for 45 mins it was terrible I bounced on the birthing ball sand cried allot I did the first 18 hours with nothing then I decided to get the epidural while I was laying in the labor and delivery room waiting for the guy to come in and start my epidural I fell asleep next thing I know I have 5 nurses in my room ripping my pants off and putting oxygen on me I was scared to death well it turns out that my heart rate spiked and my sons hit rock bottom after they got everything back to normal I got my epidural and threw up right after he got the test meds through it I then fell asleep and slept for a while which was amazing my sons heart rate dropped a few more time which was super scary my doctor came in and checked me on Tuesday but there was no progress so Wednesday morning at 5 am she came in and broke my water things really started moving after that I woke up a few hours later in allot of pain so the nurse came in and checked me I was dialated to a 9 woohoo!!! Then writhin minutes I was at a 10 well it turns out that my son was what they call sunny side up and note my epidural had wore off after having it in for 2 days that's understandable but anyways my doctor came to the hospital and I pushed for 2 hours then at 1:34 pm on Wednesday day afternoon we finally got to meet our son then I started hemorrhaging that day I had an angel sitting with me we almost lost me and my son but luckily we are both here and very healthy he is now 2 and a big shit head but I would not change any of that for the world I love my son even though I was in labor for 56 hours I would do it again ❤️❤️❤️
