meal ideas!! what's for lunch???

Question

what are you cooking for your little ones? write your age and a sample menu for the day. need some new ideas. feel like my 11-month old kiddo is getting bored. there are only so many ways to cook an egg.....

11 month old love, he eats what we eat, all in small enough pieces xoxo

Breakfast: beans, cheese, bananas, peanut butter, kiwis, oranges, oatmeal, atole, eggs, yogurt

Lunch: salad, quesadilla, sandwich, fruits, veggies, rice, beans, meat, leftovers

Dinner: chicken fried rice, enchiladas, stuffed bell peppers, tacos, burritos, curry dishes, salads, egg and sausage casserole, corn casserole

Bfast-- several kinds fruit and/ or eggs grits 
Lunch- avocado, cottage cheese and fruit or leftovers or peanut butter jelly sandwich or hummus and pita bread.
Supper- salmon and sweet potatoes or anything we are eating. Sweet Potatoes are the only baby food she still eats. The rest is bite size pieces of whatever we eat.

At 11 months she LOVES a little spice. 
Her faves are enchiladas, chili, quesadillas, curry meatballs were a big hit last week. 
But she will eat pretty much anything she is offered. 
Today's plan is: 
Cherrios and strawberries for breakfast
Chicken, black bean & cheese quesadilla for lunch. 
Pot roast and veggies for dinner. 
Through the day she will have more fruit and some crackers probably. She likes to eat.

Like most others, my daughter eats what I eat for the most part. She'll be one on the 8th.

Breakfast is usually a scrambled egg with sausage or ham & cheese. Also half a banana. I've been trying other fruits but she's not really interested in anything else yet, unless it's in the pouch. Sometimes we do oatmeal instead of the egg.

Lunch is usually leftovers from dinner the night before. If it's the weekend, then I might make something like soup and/or a sandwich which she shares. On weekdays if there's no leftovers, I send her to daycare with one of those little Gerber toddler lunch trays.

She loooooves chicken, so dinner is often some kind of chicken for her. The pre-made rotisserie chickens you can get at the grocery store are THE BEST. Between the two of us, we get a few days of eating out of those! She also loves broccoli (I boil it for about 3 mins then drain & add butter & seasoning salt. It's her fave!) Other foods she loves: cheese, pasta, fish, calzone, meatloaf, meatballs, burgers, etc.

I feel the same way. I'm constantly struggling with what to make, especially for dinner.

Every morning LO has scrambled eggs with some kind of fruit. She also has either toast strips or grits or yogurt. She also likes regular oatmeal.

Lunch I sometimes do a grilled cheese sandwich and soup or leftovers from dinner the night before. Or I will make mac and cheese. Also provide some kind of fruit.

Dinner is tough because I get home right before bedtime so it's something that is thrown together by my husband like turkey and veggies or raviolis, with or without sauce, and veggies. On the weekends it's a bit easier because we can make dinner earlier and can eat with the LO. Last night we all had shepherds pie and the LO loved it and there are leftovers for today's lunch. I try to make dinners where there will be something leftover for lunch the next day.

lately:  breakfast oatmeal and fruit. or quiche and fruit.   lunch hummus and whole wheat bread.  dinner brocolli and noodles.   need to add more protein and more variety.
