Im bleeding again& idk why!

So it's been a month since I gave birth and I had a wonderful birth btw (my epidural numbed me alil too much but I was able to push her out really quickly with no tears). So I'm healing all great and all, my bleeding stopped and I was having almost white discharge then today I started bleeding again and now I'm cramping. Is this my period? It was first brown then a gush of red blood came afterwards, I'm breastfeeding so I thought my period wouldn't be here yet😕
