Do I need a different ring bearer if my son walks me down the isle?

I want my son to walk me down the isle, (I may end up carrying him lol) he's going to be 2, and am wondering if I should ask my nephew (4) to be the ring bearer since my son will be with me.

I think if your son is going down the aisle with you... you could definitely use your nephew as a ring bearer if you wanted to include him in the wedding.

There are no little boys in my family, my nephew is 11 and taller than me so he'd look more appropriate as an usher. We aren't having a ring bearer. They're kinda pointless IMO, most people don't let a small child take charge of real wedding rings.

You can have your wedding how ever you want! I didn't even have a ring bearer. We just had the maid of honor and best man hold the rings.
