How soon after a break up have you been able to sleep with someone else?

I just read on some guy forum about a guy that slept with some chick 2 weeks after being broken up with his ex from a 16 month relationship.

Sort of left a bad taste in my mouth.

Do women take this short to get over a break up? Are all guys like this? 
And are they even wrong to just move on so quick?

Personally it left a bad taste in my mouth to even read it. I'm left with the impression that men can just stick their dick in anything and not care about their ex girlfriends.

Just because you sleep with someone else doesn't mean you've gotten over the relationship. I've slept with people right after relationships ended just to clear my mind or feel anything.

After a major break up I took a year and a half to heal. I kept myself busy. I read books. I volunteered. I worked on my self esteem, self worth and confidence. I forgave myself for my horrible decisions and I forgave those that hurt me. Not to their face but to myself. Not because they deserved it but because I deserved peace within. They were no longer going to be the reason for my insecurities or unhappiness. I prepared myself inside and out. A year later I met the guy I have been with for the last 4 years. I wasn't looking. I actually blew him off but he pursued me for 6 months and I told him sex isn't a priority that a relationship was and that if he got it that it would not be regularly. He never pressured me. I made him wait a year and a half for it. He's actually the first guy I made wait. I got tired of being used and abused and taken advantage of. And honestly it's the only way to know if that's what he wants or he wants more.

It always depends on how much that person cared for you or loved you. Not all guys are like that those are the ones who really care but guys who just care about hot girls and having sex do things like that same goes for girls but girls take it to heart a little more so it takes longer to forgive and forget some girls do it right away because they want to get revenge not always to just do it for the sex or the hot guy but everyone is different.

I kept getting harassed by his friends and he kept making rude comments to me... so I called up an old friend that Wednesday and hooked up that night. Sex isn't always   associated with feelings.

It depends on the relationship, some people get along quickly, some were never really in love in the first place. It's up to the person how they move on and heal and if someone can get over it quick and miss all the pain and suffering I say good for them because that shit hurts. Also people sleep with others soon after a breakup to try and move on faster and forget. It's not just guys either, girls do the same and everyone is different so you should avoid holding judgement

it depends how deep the relationship was. i broke up with him little more than week ago but damn im ready for smth new 😍 i was the one doing the dumping tho, i already "got over" before i actually told him... so it really depends.
