Genetic blood testing

Okay ladies i have a question. I had my first ob appt and she mentioned when i go to get my regular blood work i could have some tests that look for things like down syndrome. Then she mentioned how theyll look for fluid in the neck which i know is the ultrasound but she said to also let them know my bloodwork is going to two different places does that mean im going to get a test similar to the harmony one where you can find out the gender?
