So this is my first pregnancy what does it usually feel like when your nipples are sore?

During pregnancy- Nipple pain I always remembered being sharp and painful. I believe it is from everything getting ready for milk production.  I also remember it being under pits into sides of breast.  
After pregnancy - Nipple soreness hurts really really bad (from breastfeeding, Medela works great and safe for baby, still use on LO lips)

Also after pregnancy - Breast & Nipple pain can be from breast feeding... If your slow to feed or pump, you will get a full and heavy pain with needle pin pain in nipples.  Think they are saying, PUMP!!!

Your nipples would be very sensitive to the touch and even showering may be uncomfortable/painful. Wearing a bra may cause discomfort, too.
