Why is it so hard to reply to a rsvp

There's a reason why we asked for rsvp. Why do I have to call to ask. Why is it so hard to say yes or no. I give up. Or am I wrong for thinking like this. I just want an answer that's all

Not wrong to feel that way!!! I had a few people not RSVP so I put them as a no. I refused to chase them down and "remind" them at the same time. I also did a buffet through the hall and had a few people cancel the week of the shower, and after I sent my numbers in. That pissed me off more cuz it cost me money for their "plates" 😡 lol I try to remember that not all people understand what goes into the planning or what details you have for yours but it's no doubt annoying lol

The best part is when u contact them to ask if they rsvp and no fucking reply lol! Just silence.. like the least u could do is just say no or reply.

Yep, I agree! No one rsvp'd to mine. But what more annoying is when they don't use the registry and you end up with a million newborn outfits, blankets, and stuffed animals 😕

I made a Facebook event page to go along with the invites. Most people rsvp'ed through Facebook thankfully. Saved me the headache of waiting to hear from everyone individually.

Nope. You are absolutely right to feel that way! We just canceled my 8 year olds birthday party bc no one rsvpd. So we are taking her and a friend out bowling and leaving a note on the front door.

My mom had to message over 20 people because they didn't rsvp. Some even lost the invites. I was not a happy camper.

Lol...I asked for people to rsvp and literally no one called me/texted. I made a facebook post and finally people responded, so I had to basically put them on blast to get a response. How the heck am I supposed to know how much party supplies to get? I guess being pregnant also means I should be a mind-reader...should have added that to the baby shower activities since people seem to like it so much.

It was so terrible. I paid good money for invitations and people just didn't RSVP. My sister in law had my baby shower catered and I had to harass people to find out if they were coming because she needed a count for the food. I had to make a Facebook event after writing out alllll those envelopes. Then people still didn't respond and I had to individually text or call people. I will NEVER not RSVP for the rest of my life!
