I went to school to be a teacher, made it to student teaching (had a not so great experience that made me rethink my decision), but ended up having to withdraw due to an unforeseen medical problem with my daughter.  I have been taking care of her ever since and continued being a stay at home mom.  Now I have been trying to figure out what kind of job I'd really want to do when my kids are older, but I have no clue.  I had a goal for 5-6 years to be a teacher and discovered I didn't like how much the field of education had changed.  The good thing is I am three classes away from receiving my bachelors degree, I just won't be a certified teacher.  How did you all go about finding a career interest?
