anyone smoke pot while pregnant?

Okay, I know how this sounds. Believe me I NEVER imagined even considering it! I always said I'd never smoke while pregnant  even as a daily user (mostly for anxiety and insomnia) but I have been SO sick. Unable to eat anything, sick. Ive called my doctor but they want me to try and stick it out a little longer before perscibing anything as last resort kind of thing, but I have a new job I've only been at 2 weeks and even though they know I'm pregnant I cannot afford to miss work. Im so aprehenive because none of the studies are really reliable and the very last thing I want to do is even risk my child's health, but I'm at the end of my rope.

i live in a state where it is medically and recreationally legal, i go to the dispensary and buy edibles that are low in thc (what gets you high) and high in cbd (doesnt get you high and has lots of medical benefits). Edibles obviously involve no smoke and in my case, i'm not even getting high. Strictly medicinal use in my case but I wouldn't stop anyone from smoking it while pregnant either considering theres no solid research saying it harms the baby. Ive seen with my own eyes ladies who smoke their entire pregnancy and have huge healthy smart babies. Dont let anyone guilt you for whatever you choose, it's definitely safer than zofran- which is the only meds my dr prescribes for nausea.

It's not my thing, but for most of my friends it is and the majority smoked or ate edibles fairly often while pregnant and it helped them out tremendously. Their kids are all super bright and healthy.

I smoked a little during the first trimester because I was so nauseous I couldn't eat and the pills I was prescribed made it worse. I lost 17 pounds by week 10. Before I got pregnant I was a heavy daily smoker. I would smoke a tiny bit, one or two hits a day just to get me a little hungry and then I'd eat and feel better. But I can advise you that the smoke may make you throw up. If I coughed I would throw up. But then 5 minutes would pass and I'd feel better. I googled weed and pregnancy until my fingers almost bled lol and although there's no legit answer on whether it's safe or not I know losing 20 pounds while growing a baby is not safe. Once my nausea stopped I stopped smoking again and probably won't pick it up again just because I don't want to be high around my baby after he's born. But if you truly think it will help you try it out, there's gonna be judgemental people on here but they're also the people who think it's ok to dope yourself up with pills. Smoke some weed and see if it helps 😊

I don't agree with smoking pot while pregnant. Anything that could possibly harm your baby should be out of the picture! Just try to stick it out for a little longer, tell your OB you need nausea medication, or get a second opinion about taking medication for it.

I would vape or eat it. Everyone I know that smoked while pregnant had healthy babies. They did a study on Jamaican women as well with positive results. I've heard at least a few people say their doctor recommended it for morning sickness.

Have you tried Dramamine? It's safe for pregnancy and you don't need a prescription. I would try everything else before deciding on pot

Look up Melanie Dreher, she conducted the most thorough study for Marijuana use during pregnancy. The problem with a lot of the other reasearch is that it's not inclusive to Marijuana only, so the results tend to be more negative when you have mothers who are smoking tobacco and/or taking other ther drugs.

I have never been a good eater, I don't get much of an appetite even while pregnant. I smoked while pregnant and it's what helped me eat and gain weight for my baby. I had no complications and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. You can always eat edibles if you don't want to inhale smoke.

I would run smoking pot by your OBGYN and get some info on it. Im sure he or she is the best person and can tell you risks etc. If i were you id stick it out or try ginger that helped me so much! Preggy pops helped my sister. And my mom swears by plain bagels. You have a lot of options.
