chronic yeast infection in pregnancy?

I wear cotton underwear, I bathe everyday, I use unscented dove. And never but it inside just outside of the labia. I don't understand. We don't even have sex anymore. I'm 6 months pregnant. And it's back again.. I have an appointment Monday is there anything I can take till then? Or can you call the nurse line to get meds phoned in or does it have to be an emergency?

I had it inside and out after a round of antibiotics a few weeks ago and my hospital recommended monistats 3, monistat 7, or monistat 10. I opted for the monistats 3 combo pack that came with wipes and creme for external use and suppositories for three nights. I didn't feel relief until the third night but it hasn't come back! Unfortunately we can't take the oral pill when pregnant :( good luck!

I find that with yeast infections it depends on what you eat (a diet rich in sugar and simple carbs can aggravate it). So try to limit your sugar intake and eat some probiotic yoghurts (sugar free ones or simply take some probiotic supplements )
Also washing your area too often and with soap will get rid of your natural pH balance and make your more vulnerable to getting yeast infections. So try to only clean it with water and nothing else (also maybe try to not wash it for two days or so if your ph balance is destroyed already to give it time to recover - it's gross and uncomfortable but it might help you). 
And thirdly, stress can throw your body off balance - so maybe are you have a lot of stress lately that makes your body react this way?

I think it also helps if you treat it right when it starts. In the past, if I let it go too long, it took longer and more treatments to get rid of. 
My doc office said treat as you normally would with Monastat. I was so thankful that the treatment was ok.
