is my baby too big?

I am 26 weeks and 2 days and i had a U/S today and they said he is weighing 2.4lbs, is this normal and healthy? Just coz the glow app says 1.7lbs. The ultrasound tech didnt seem concerned, what happens if your baby is measuring bigger? Do they induce labour earlier? Any advice would be appreciated

My daughter was always textbook size until I think around 32 weeks. Then everytime I went they told me she was measuring BIG. One time I guess I looked upset so the doctor said the best thing: "You body will make a baby that fits you." And I stopped worrying about it. She was 8lbs 1oz ❤😄

Ultrasound measurements aren't the most accurate it can be off by about a pound in either direction so I wouldn't be too worried right not unless your doctor says something or if you have gestational diabetes your doc may be worried about a bigger baby

Don't worry too much. At 24weeks that said my boy is almost 2lbs...it made my day that he's healthy and growing :)

At 26 weeks my baby measured 3.5lbs and at 30 weeks he was 6lbs. I hope they are wrong tho

Babies come in all shapes and sizes. Some might be teensy and other might be chunks. Don't stress it.

According to the app at 20 weeks it says the baby should only weigh 10.5 oz but at my 29 week scan baby's as about 12 oz. glow just shows a general estimate. Babies weigh different all the time and usually they say that the weight they give you could be 2 pounds off.

Babies vary, the app is a guesstimate for a generic average baby. Ours has been bigger than the glow app says since wk 20 but until wk 32 he had been measuring as he should but is now bigger

I was concerned about this too although I'm sure my boy is going to be big.. He was 1lb 10oz at 24 and 3... I'm sure next Wednesday when I he gets measured he'll be at least 2.5lbs and I'll be 27 and 3
