EBF babies and sleep?

How are you LOs sleeping? Mine is still up every 3-4 hours. He eats 4 oz every 3 hours. I just see all these other posts about babies doing 9-10 hour stretches and I don't get more than maybe 5.  I always wonder, would he sleep better if formula fed? I can't cosleep because I don't sleep.

I think the only reason I get 8+ hours is because I have my little guy bed share. Other wise I'm sure he would be up every 3-4. Right now he wakes once to feed around 3/4am and then sleeps until 7:30am

My LO is almost 15 weeks and gets between 2-4 hours between feedings.  She's EBF as well.

Mine is ebf too and 5 hrs is a dream.. I also read babies sleeping from 9-9 and I feel when will my baby do that 😂😂😂.. Now i feel is not thing to happen until we start solids.. So urnt alone.. Yesterday he woke up 4 times to nurse 😖

Every baby is different. Breastfed babies do wake more because BM digests faster but switching would not necessarily make for a sleepy baby and ideas like rice cereal are a huge no no. My boy started sleeping through the night a little short of 3 months with the occasional wake up a few nights around 3, but I also exclusively pump  into bottles so he wouldn't wake just to comfort nurse.

My 15 week old is EBF and only sleeps 45 min to 2 hours at a time. 😑 Also she has to be in my bed with me. 💤💤💤

If you don't mind me asking, how do you know how many oz he eats?

She is 14 weeks and only gets formula at daycare if she runs out of breastmilk. She'll have her last nursing session at about 10-10:30 and then sleep until about 4 or 5...if we're lucky :)

My friends 11 month old has not slept longer than a 3 hour stretch once. My oldest two boys were sleeping through the night by 3 months they were breast and formula fed. My 3rd baby though.. he's exclusively breast fed 14 weeks old and st night sleeps about a 5-6 hour stretch BUT he is a cat napper during the day.  I'm talking 20 minutes here 20 minutes there. Which makes it REALLY REALLY hard to be even remotely productive! I know it takes longer for breastfed babies because their bodies metabolize breast milk faster than formula so they're hungrier more often.
