should I bring it up or let it go??

So my boyfriend said something to me today that I took very offensively. My parents are trying to move out of the state they grew up in and are so close to selling our house. My bf and I were talking and he said his parents were never going to move because they have money and can afford to stay in that state. Idk if he meant it as a stab or what. My parents aren't moving cause they can't afford it they are moving to be 1. Closer to me and my siblings(they are 10 hours now) 2. Start new 3. Warmer temperature 4. Lower tax and smaller house. I'm just so shocked by what he said and have been since this morning. My parents are a little higher middle class which is the same as his parents. Idk why he can justify his parents as "wealthier" when ours are practically the same. Should I bring this back up or what??? It's just bugging me. I'm not saying that my parents are any better than his. I just feel strange knowing that's how he talked about my parents to my face and I wonder what he has said to his parents.
