Why does the bottom clip go into her stomach and not her crotch? The car seat pamphlet said you must take the bottom insert out when they reach 11 lbs (she has) so we did. But now the clips too high I think?

This happened to my baby when I took out the infant insert at 11 pounds. I was thinking about still using it but the manual was adamant about removing it at 11 pounds. :/

Can you scoot her bum up so she's slouched less?  The straps should be on her hips instead of her stomach.
