tampons are expensive

I never realised how much money goes toward pads n tampons n stuff until I had to buy my own. My mother is religious and thinks that if I use tampons I'm doing something bad but I'm not religious and buy them myself cos I prefer them over pads. It just feels like I'm wearing a nappy or something. They're actually really expensive to buy every month oh my bshshhsb
