Becoming fiancé?

So come may, it's been a year( I know it might be quick), but we already agreed that we know what we want, and that his will lead to eventual marriage☺ Anyways, he asked me how long he should wait to ask the big question. I said a year or longer, is that too soon? Honestly, it's the best relationship, and the best person I've ever been in contact with, and he says the same about our relationship. We have stupid cute inside jokes, and instantly get each other. Any thoughts y'all?
