hemarrhoid ??????

Help! I just noticed this and I'm pretty sure it's only come up in the last few hours but I have this lump about the size of a small cashew nut on my anus and I'm pretty sure it's a hemarrhoid (I know I'm probably spelling it wrong). I'll be going to the dr soon but in the mean time does anyone know anyways to get rid of it/numb the pain/itch
