Leaking fluid?

I keep finding wet spots in my underwear, just wet not mucus. I only have a little bit of cm and it's white/creamy. This wet spot has a very strong odor, smells salty. It's not much but has happened 3 times in the last 30 hours. I feel a little silly asking my midwife about it since this is my 3rd pregnancy. But I've never had it happen b4. I'm 34 wks 5 days. Has anybody else had this happen? Could it be amniotic fluid? Is it a big deal if it is amniotic fluid?

If it has odour you need to go to the hospital as it could be a serious infection. It should never smell.

It's more than likely luekoreah. It's normal.

Unless it smells, or is yellow or green.

And yes it could be a big deal if you are leaking fluid because you are more prone to infection. I was on IV antibiotics throughout my delivery because I was leaking for 3 days and didn't know that's what it was. My suggestion is to grab that hospital bag and get there soon like ASAP

This started happening to me around 33 weeks. Talked to my doc about it and she wasnt worried said its a good sign your starting to dilate. If its happening over the course of the day its prob nothing to worry about . But if u soak through ur underwear or pantyliner in an hrs time thats when it could be serious.  Always better safe than sorry tho so dont be afraid to mention it just incase.

This happened with my first. I was clear and I was 19 with no idea it was my water leaking.... for 3 days. Go to the ER! Your membrane is probley ruptured. Good luck.
