12 week old cluster feeding?

My baby is 12 weeks old and has been eating like 2-3 oz every hour to two hours. She usually eats 4-6 oz every three hours with a five or six hour stretch at night. She's also been incredibly fussy and fighting sleep. Is 12 weeks normal to cluster feed? I think she might have a little cold too.

Yes they got through a growth spurt around this time which will more than likely make them start cluster feeding again! My little man just started the same thing this week but is completely annoying about it because he eats just a little and leaves my squirting my milk all over the place!!

I think there's both a 11/12 week wonder week and a 3 month growth spurt. :/

My son's 12 weeks and both his sleeping and eating are all kinds of weird. He's gone back to being fussy about taking a bottle and chewing on the nipple. Breast feeding he's either super distracted and only eats for a few minutes or sleep feeds forever.

And then this morning for some reason he was freaking out and straining with his legs when we tried to nurse in our normal position. The only way I could get him to calm down was lying him across me skin to skin with his knees on the bed. I think it might have been gas? Really weird.

And then his sleep at night has gone back to smaller chunks and it's really hard to get him to nap.

But yeah, definitely something(s) developmental going on. I just hope he moves out of it soon. *sigh*
