Spicing up TTC

My fiancee and I have agreed that since having our 1st child our sex life is lacking in the excitement and variety department. I am 7 years younger than him and have not probably had the experience in the love making department, haven't watched much porn, I'm not inexperienced per-se, just have not had a lot of variety. It's always in bed, and although I am on top sometimes it's usually missionary. This past weekend he tried to be spontaneous and call me into the bathroom to have sex after he showered while our toddler was sleeping. I ended up feeling sort of uncomfortable and asking him if we could move to the bedroom (that's also some self-conciousness). It shook him out of his sexy mood and I ruined it I guess you could say we did have sex later in the bedroom per usual but I mixed it up and encouraged doggie style. Tomorrow is the second day during my fertile period I want to TTC and I want to do something special since MIL has our son. Maybe in the kitchen but I'm shy and am not sure how to initiate this kind of thing. I do like giving him oral when he's just showered so I thought about telling him when he gets home to go shower that I have a surprise but after that I have no clue what to say or do, I have butterflies thinking about what to do. I'm excited and nervous. Please help, it may sound pathetic but any advice would be alppppreciated.
