Do you understand what feminism is?

It seems there is a lot of confusion around this term, mostly around the perception of the word 'feminist'. Please provide facts and logic.

Feminism is the idea that women will stop being judged. If she wants to be submissive...fine. she wants to have a high powered career....fine. she wants to show skin...fine. she wants to cover up...fine. 
It about allowing the women to chose for herself what makes her happy and comfortable. 
It's also about having equal opportunity, but that ties into the 1st paragraph. She can chose to have a career and not be hindered by her having children for a job.

The problem isn't just that people are confused about it, it's that there's people with different views and goals who utilize the same title of "feminist". Hence you'll get plenty of people who aren't for gender/sexual equality or they're just extremists. All charging under the same banner.

Similarly, we have millions under the category of "Chirsian" but yet someone was smart enough to give denominational names like Catholic or Baptist to define that they have different beliefs. I would think we could do something similar with feminism since egalitarian apparently isn't the same thing to most, or I guess doesn't sound as pretty or feminized enough?
