HELP!! Career/Life advice??!

Question

Hey ladies, I'm 16 and a junior in high school. My whole life, I wanted to be a veterinarian, but the more I think about it the more I think that that's probably not what I want to do anymore. But I have no idea what else I would do!!!! 
I'm a very creative person, (I write/draw/sew/craft a lot), I love animals, and I really want a job where I'm making upwards of $60k a year. (I live in California and don't ever want to leave, and it's expensive as hell here.) 
Any advice or ideas on careers or fields that I should check out?? Seriously, any suggestions are welcome lol. Thanks so much 💕

I'm in California too. I was a veterinary technician for many years, but the pay is not great. I definitely wouldn't suggest being a veterinarian unless you're really committed. It is a really rewarding field, but it's also a lot of work physically, mentally and emotionally. Are you in Southern California or Northern California? If you're up north I would suggest taking a tour of the veterinary hospital at UC Davis. It's awesome there and they might be able to give you some good advice.

Since you love animals maybe that can be your hobby on your free time. That way you will still feel connected to your passion.

Are you opposed to a four year degree or are you wanting something to start doing right after graduation ?
