Big baby

Just a PSA for what it's worth. Today I had a c section because 2 weeks ago I had a sonogram and they told me my baby was already measuring 10 lb 4 oz so he would be upward of 10.5 lbs at birth. Then, a week later my doctor felt my stomach and said he definitely felt like he was already 10.5lbs.

Well I had him today and he is 9lbs 6oz. I realize he is still big, but if I had known he was under 10lbs I would have tried vaginally to have him. I posted on here many times about scheduling a c section due to a large weight estimate, and a lot of you told me not to trust the scan but I didn't listen....so just a PSA for those of you expecting a large baby.
